Battlerite Royale Patch 0.1.1

Overall Updates

Bug Fixes

  • AFK players won’t get a kill anymore when they are marked by AFK Detection.
  • A camera shake happening when switching observed player was repaired.
  • The in-game mini-map won’t experience any lags anymore when players are taking a leap off the Storm Wyvern. In addition, the icons of the player on mini-game won’t get lagged either.

  • Volume and panning of the rival death sound relies on location now. It will become much quieter if the death is so far away.
  • Added voiceover to Werebear already.

Matchmaking and Rating Changes

Lower placement will now produce a lower placement score. It will be very hard to get to the higher leagues now. And the players, who are currently in higher leagues, will find it very difficult to keep their rating.

Already added the rating loss protection for top placements! If you rank first, you won’t lose your rating, even if your match rating is not higher than your league rating. If you rank second, the rating loss will be decreased by a half.

Already made an alteration to the matchmaking for more balanced matches! This will lead to increased matchmaking queues.

In Patch 1.8, more data was added to a Team composition, causing a bug to happen to the Team Champion compositions. This means that it will be probably a wrong data for the rest of the Season in Arena or Royale until the leaderboards are reset in the subsequent Season. At the moment, the percentages son champion composition is hidden because it is probably not at high percentages.

Gameplay Updates

Some changes that will have an effect on the early game will be tested by the development team since there are lots of players spotted entering the same area. Some changes have been done, which enables the players to come to more other parts of the map rather than the same one. Also, the first combat situations are being made to become more engaging and more competitive.

Vendors and Consumables

  • Starting Gold grew from 100 to 160.
  • Players are able to buy two starting abilities now.
  • Every single champion is now armed with one additional recommended ability.
  • Enemies now release a health potion on death now.
  • The vendors will now put common (green) abilities on sale rather than rare (blue) ones in order to keep vendor consistency as well as enable to players to make the blank slots full for somewhat cheaper.

Players are able to appear on two discrepant Storm Wyverns flying across the map. Players will split equally between the two.
